At the foot of the Pyrenees, in the small village of Saint-Sever, the story begins long before fashion. In 1859, a family, the Crabos, collected, washed and sorted the down from ducks and geese in the region. Rare expertise, patiently passed down from generation to generation.
This exceptional down, light and warm, became the soul of the house. For over a century, Pyrenex perfected the art of insulation, serving bedding, then technical clothing.
In the 1960s, an idea emerged: why not make down an everyday ally, not just for alpine expeditions? Pyrenex designed its first down jackets. The garment left the peaks to enter the streets, with the same demands for warmth and durability.
From ski resorts to urban avenues, Pyrenex established itself, discreetly but surely. Made in France, its pieces combine artisanal tradition, technical performance and functional elegance.
